AFL’s ultimate blockbuster hangs in balance as Melbourne await COVID results
Friday nights blockbuster between Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs is set to go ahead despite the club confirming a listed player was present at a Tier 1 COVID-19 site.
Under Tier 1 rules, the players must immediately get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result, while all of the clubs staff must now return negative COVID-19 tests in order to have a chance of playing in front of an empty Marvel Stadium on Friday night.
