QRL could use code of conduct to terminate registration if Folau makes anti-gay posts – Sydney Morning Herald
The QRL announced on Wednesday it would approve Folau’s bid to return to grassroots rugby league on the proviso he obtains a release from Catalans Dragons.
Folau, a devout Christian, was sacked by Rugby Australia in 2019 after posting on social media that sinners, including homosexuals, would go to hell unless they repented.
The QRL believes a similar post would constitute a breach of its code, which it expects Folau to agree to and abide by.
