You can’t see it, but a Woolworths spokesperson said the technology will make using the checkout “that little bit faster”.
Woolworths has spoken out about the little-known hidden self-checkout camera you probably had no idea existed.
Speaking to 7NEWS.com.au, a Woolworths spokesperson said the Pick List Assist feature detects the type of fruit and vegetable youre purchasing at self-serve checkouts.
The camera technology is built into the cash registers scanner.
