‘I thought he was special’ – Doc Rivers praises Ben Simmons’ Game 1 performance as he joins Wilt Chamberlain in the record books – Sporting News AU
Simmons joined Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain as the only Sixers to record at least 15 rebounds and 15 assists in a playoff game.

Ben Simmons made his presence felt in the Philadelphia 76ers’ 125-118 win over the Washington Wizards in Game 1, with a stat-stuffing performance.
The Aussie recorded just six points on 3-of-9 shooting, going 0-of-6 at the free-throw line, but had his fingerprints all over the game, recording playoff career highs in both rebounds (15) and assists (15), earning praise from head coach Doc Rivers.
