‘It shows the discontent people are feeling’: Magpies petition attracts thousands of signatures – The Age
A petition led by 40-year member David Hatley to spill the Collingwood board has attracted nearly twice as many signatures than required.

But Collingwood champion Tony Shaw, a former captain and coach of the club, said he wasnt in favour of the potential coup.
I dont agree with it, Shaw said on 3AWs pre-game show on Sunday.
The EGM, if it did get through, it means were going to have a board spill and then were going to have to vote on those board members and most of the people that will be voting on the board members – like myself – wont know the ins and outs of their personality and what they do and what their strengths are.
