The Australian government has asked biotechs to submit comprehensive pitches to set up mRNA vaccine manufacturing onshore, but there are no guarantees it will end…

While the proposals may make their way to cabinet for consideration, it does not mean the government will end up funding any of the pitches that come through this process.
There is no guarantee that this process will result in the Commonwealth undertaking any grant,procurement activity or other financial support from the Commonwealth for any proposal or thatinvolves any respondent to this approach to market, the briefing documents say.
