Tasmanian financial services group MyState is cap in hand in front of fund managers seeking an equity injection on Monday morning.

The bank was seeking to raise $60 million from existing investors via a rights issue and another $20 million in an institutional placement.
The raising was at $4.30 a share, which was an 11.3 per cent discount to the last close.
Bank of America was tasked with overseeing the raising.
