Mixer shuts down today – The Verge
Last month, Microsoft announced it was shutting down Mixer on July 22nd. Most of the site’s partners are going to Twitch, although some are headed to Facebook Gaming.

As I write this, the top channel on Mixer right now is broadcasting a stream of Pokémon Yellow played by whoevers in chat á la Twitch Plays Pokémon. Its titled YouPlay presents: Mixer Doomsday party. Lets go one last time! (Day 19/19), and there are 1,337 people watching. Just about every other stream on the site is titled similarly.
