Star jockey Nash Rawiller has cleverly exposed the failings of the flawed Queensland appeals system by pulling his appeal against a whip suspension so he doesnt miss a Group 1 Saturday.
The move means Rawiller has effectively broken up his ban into two segments rather than serving eight consecutive days.
