After incident sparked wild brawl between teams

Richmond midfielder Marlion Pickett has been handed a one-match ban by the AFL’s Match Review Officer for his high hit on Brandon Starcevich in the loss to Brisbane.
The incident occurred in the final quarter of Brisbane’s 28-point win at the Gabba when a frustrated Pickett collected Starcevich high with a swinging arm after Starcevich had released a kick.
Pickett’s hit on Starcevich was classified as “careless conduct, medium impact and high contact”, which gives the 29-year-old the option of accepting…
