‘That was a catastrophe’: Comedy of errors has Bellamy blowing up
A comedy of errors from Melbourne and Canberra players was so bad it had Storm coach Craig Bellamy blowing up deluxe in his box at GIO Stadium on Saturday night.
It was in the 47th minute of the Round 11 contest when the Storm led 12-10.
Melbournes fill-in halfback Cooper Johns spied an opportunity close to the tryline, and tried to float a long lofted pass to his left winger in space.
But Johns pass fell well short, landing in the hands of young Raiders winger Semi Valemi.
