The Super League club believes Israel Folau is still contracted to them in a fresh impediment to his ambition of playing for the Southport Tigers.

In a legal sense, they have repudiated that contract, Israel has accepted that repudiation and the contract is terminated. Thats the legal position. They dont have a leg to stand on.
If Palmer has his way, Folau wont be his only controversial Tigers signing. As revealed by the Herald,the former politician is also attempting to register former NRL star Tony Williams.
