Port Adelaide to power ahead with AFL Indigenous guernsey after ‘stolen’ design resolution – 7NEWS.com.au
The AFL club has cleared the air after being accused of ripping off an Indigenous artist’s work.
Port Adelaide has confirmed it will don its Indigenous guernsey Sir Doug Nicholls Round as planned after resolving a dispute with Aboriginal artist Elle Campbell.
After the artist hit out at Port Adelaide on social media the club has accepted that Campbell came up with the original design for a 2019 exhibition at Flinders Medical Centre to celebrate NAIDOC week.
