A global system outage that rocked Virgin Australia has been resolved, hours after sending travellers plans into disarray.
Crowds began to build on Friday at airports across the country after several flights were delayed when Virgin Australia was impacted by the major worldwide issue.
The outage was affecting the airlines check-in and boarding systems – causing big headaches for the company.
Around 8pm AEST, Virgin Australia released an update on the issue.
