Apple brings CEO Tim Cook to court in defence of app store – The Australian Financial Review
The company is counting on Mr Cook’s appearance to help in an antitrust case brought by Epic Games, maker of the popular video game Fortnite.
San Ramon, California | Apple CEO Tim Cook will take the witness stand on Friday (Saturday AEST) to defend the companys iPhone app store against charges that it has grown into an illegal monopoly one far more profitable than his predecessor Steve Jobs envisioned when it opened 13 years ago.
The technology company is counting on Mr Cooks appearance to put the finishing touches on Apples defence against an antitrust case brought by Epic Games, maker of the popular video game Fortnite.
