Talks of a ceasefire gain momentum even as Israel pounds Gaza, Hamas fires more rockets

Israel unleashed another wave of air strikes across Gaza early on Thursday, killing at least one Palestinian and wounding several, and Hamas fired more rockets injuring an Israeli soldier, even as expectations rose that a ceasefire could be reached.
