High-profile recruit Ben Brown has been dropped by Melbourne.
The 28-year-old recovered from a knee injury to make his Demons debut in Round 7, but after three games has been squeezed out of the side in favour of Luke Jackson.
Speaking on Sportsday shortly after Thursday nights teams announcement, teammate Adam Tomlinson said added pressure for spots in the side was something the playing group would have to deal with as a result of their 9-0 start.
