‘I support traditional custodians’
Chris Hemsworth has voiced his support for traditional custodians who are trying to protect sacred Indigenous sites in Byron Bay.
The Aussie actor, who resides in the NSW coastal town, shared an Instagram video of himself and local activist Lois Cook condemning development plans to build a resort in the area.
“I stand shoulder-to-shoulder in solidarity with Auntie Lois Cook in opposition to the tourism development at Seven Mile Beach,” Hemsworth, 37, said in the video.
