Warwick Farm trainer David Pfieffer has been disqualified for nine months.
Last week’s Scone Cup-winning trainer faced stewards at a hearing on Tuesday to answer a series of charges, the most serious being he substituted a urine sample after a horse he trained returned an irregularity which was below the screening threshold limit.
Pfieffer was also charged for failing to report to stewards that horses he trained, Famous and Zouspectre, had blood present in a nostril.
