Dragons decimated, Raiders star out of Origin after Magic Rd carnage
Raiders star Josh Papalii will miss the State of Origin series opener, while the Dragons have felt the squeeze of the NRLs crackdown with four players facing lengthy bans.
Canberra has confirmed Papalii will take the early guilty plea for a high shot on Bulldogs rookie Tui Katoa.
The 29-year-old was slapped with a grade three careless high tackle charge and will be banned for three games, which effectively makes him unavailable for selection for Origin I on Wednesday June 9.
