‘The game needs momentum’: Bennett’s tirade over officiating after penalty costs Sharks
Wayne Bennett has launched a spirited attack on officiating, which he believes is slowing down the game and making it less attractive to fans after an incident that left both coaches unimpressed.
Bennett and Sharks coach Josh Hannay took issue with Chad Townsend being penalised for a crusher tackle after play continued for several tackles down the field and the game was stopped and brought back.
Yeah Im a bit worried about it, Bennett said of the officiating.
