‘Extremely secretive’: Families hit out as nursing home staff told to isolate – The Age
All staff at St Basil’s Homes for the Aged in Fawkner have been ordered to vacate their positions, with 69 COVID-19 cases linked to the worst aged care outbreak in the state.
“We have heard nothing, crickets as they say,” Ms Golding said. “I don’t know what’s going on. My mother can’t pick up the phone, she’s in a wheelchair and they have put her in bed for a week. I can’t even call her. It’s appalling.”
