‘Ain’t going to happen’: Bennett’s explains Magic Round boycott
South Sydney coach Wayne Bennett has promised to boycott open-air press conferences the NRL is instituting for Magic Round and declared officials will have to drag him there if they want him to attend.
The NRL is seeking to have both coaches and captains front up after games for their post-match interviews in the forecourt of Suncorp Stadium.
Fans can attend and will even be invited to submit questions with NRL CEO Andrew Abdo saying: Its vital we continue to think outside the square about new ways…
