A British broadcaster has mocked Meghan Markle’s appeal for countering world poverty, for wearing thousands of dollars worth of jewellery in a televised appearance.
The duchess, who made a virtual speech for the Global Citizen’s VAX Live event last weekend, discussed how women were disproportionately affected by the coronavirus pandemic, and called for vaccine equity.
