Kidnapping survivor Elizabeth Smart has opened up about a commonly asked question that has followed her into married life after her horrific teenage rape ordeal.
The US mother-of-three was just 14 when she was abducted from her home in Salt Lake City, Utah, in the middle of the night at knifepoint back in June 2002.
She was taken into the mountains behind her home and held captive for nine months by Brian David Mitchell and his wife Wanda Barzee.
