Fresh evidence filed in former Test star’s kidnap case
The brother of former Test cricketer Stuart MacGills girlfriend will apply for bail next week after being charged over the alleged terrifying kidnapping of the retired spin bowler.
Marino Sotiropoulos, 46, was due to make a bid for release at Sutherland Local Court on Wednesday after spending a week behind bars.
His lawyer Arjun Chhabra, however, was instructed to withdraw the application at the last minute after being handed a bundle of fresh documents by a police prosecutor.
