There has been much anticipation around any juvenile first-starter John McArdle has sent out in recent weeks, largely due to comments made by the Mornington trainer.
Several weeks ago, on RSN927, McArdle suggested he might not yet have unveiled the best of his two-year-old crop this season.
Given McArdle’s seven two-year-old winners have been shared between seven different horses, it was a comment that caught the attention of many.
