Coach’s son gets upgrade ahead of Magic Round
UPDATE: The Parramatta Eels have upgraded the contract of Brad Arthur’s son Jakob in the nick of time to allow him to debut in Magic Round.
The 18-year-old was yesterday selected for his first game in first grade, however it became apparent that he would not be able to take the field unless the Eels chose to upgrade him from a development player, due to NRL eligibility rules.
