Budding young entrepreneurs Jack Barker and his sister Kelly have come up with a unique plan to tackle the spread of one of northern Australia’s most serious weeds  and make some money while doing it.

• Two children have hatched a plan to combat the spinyhead sida, a weed introduced to Australia last century
• It involves a beetle that eats the harmful weed, but not any native vegetation
• The pair has been selling the insects to neighbours to tackle the growing ecological threat
