The ASX 200 eased from four-month highs after a mixed session on Wall Street overnight. The Aussie touched its highest since April 2019.

The number of companies listing on the ASX this year has fallen quite dramatically, according to HLB Mann Judd Partner, Marcus Ohm.
Normally the ASX sees an average of 34 companies float in the first half of the year. In 2019 there was 23 companies raising $823 million between them, but in 2020 the figure dropped to 12 companies raising a total of $132 million. And most of those listings were done before the end of February.
