Panthers star Tyrone May blames himself for Penrith missing the NRL finals last year and is focused on repaying the club for supporting him during his high-profile sex-tape scandal.
Australian Associated Press reported May almost quit the game with the possibility of a prison term hanging over his head after he pleaded guilty of recording an intimate image without consent.
My biggest worry was obviously going to prison, May told AAP.
