Port Adelaide ruckman Scott Lycett has revealed the “outrageous” torrent of abuse he has received after his dangerous tackle on Adelaide’s Ned McHenry.
Lycett’s dangerous sling tackle left McHenry dazed in the opening quarter of Port’s Showdown win, with the ruckman referred directly to the AFL Tribunal for the act.
The 28-year-old took to his personal Instagram account to denounce the abuse, with screenshots revealing a series of disgusting abusive messages sent to him in the wake of his tackle…
