The Dark Portal Re-Opens
By the time of its release back in 2007, as the first expansion to WoW, Blizzards new online-RPG was becoming one of the most talked about and played videogames of all time. As something of a cultural touchstone, the opening of the Dark Portal as seen in the opening moments of Burning Crusade became synonymous with the game, franchise, and studio, expanding its reach and scope to a much larger and wider audience.
