‘I was not welcomed to the cast at all’
Jaleel White, who played the iconic role of Steve Urkel in Family Matters revealed his fellow cast members weren’t welcoming when he first joined the sitcom.
The actor, who became a family favourite with his catchphrase “did I do that?” joined the hit series 1989 during its first season. He was originally cast as a guest star but went on to be a permanent cast member until the show ended in 1998.
