Alarming new data from the Heart Foundation has revealed the Federation and Moira Local Government Areas have some of the highest rates of heart attack and coronary heart disease hospital admissions. In a Heart Foundation survey the Riverina region (which encompasses Federation) was found to have the rate of 21.5 out of every 10,000 heart attack hospitalisations. This is about 48% above the NSW state average.
