In one year, Brisbane Airport fell from busiest day to empty terminal – Brisbane Times
For the first seven months a record number of tourists were arriving. By the second half of the year the airport’s international terminal was deserted.
At the domestic terminal, the slowest day was April 12, 2020, when 31 passengers touched down.
Brisbane’s airport, which recently marked the opening of its new runway, came to a standstill.
It was a world away from October 4, 2019, when a record 63,525 people arrived in Brisbane from interstate.
