AFLW competition set to remain at 14 teams despite push for expansion

The AFL Womens competition is set to remain stable at 14 teams for the near future.
Only Hawthorn, Essendon, Sydney and Port Adelaide arent associated with the AFLW competition, with the last round of expansion coming before the 2020 season.
The most recent expansion clubs have struggled to be competitive in the competition, with many questioning the depth across the womens football pool in order to keep the standard of the competition strong.
