The family of a 21-year-old man who died from epilepsy in his sleep is pleading for more research into SUDEP – a condition that claims the lives of five Australians every week.
Judah Lehtonen’s parents say
they weren’t aware of SUDEP until his death.“We do hang on to every good moment we’ve had with him, just wish there was more and I think we would have made more if we were aware of SUDEP.” – Mother, Louise Lehtonen.
