VanEck, BetaShares in race for bitcoin ETF – The Australian Financial Review
VanEck and BetaShares have each lodged submissions with the ASX as they race to list the country’s first cryptocurrency-backed exchange-traded fund.

Mr Neiron said VanEck considered crypto assets a form of digital gold and akin to a commodity and that ETFs are the optimal delivery mechanism.
Homegrown ETF manager BetaShares has also lodged a formal submission with the ASX, pitting the two ambitious rivals against each other in a race for ASX and regulatory approval.
