Sonny Bill Williams could link up with the embattled Warriors in a shock NRL return on a unique five-game deal.
The Toronto Wolfpack star became a free agent after financial and visa issues forced his Canadian-based club to withdraw from the English Super League season, which was is set to resume on August 2.
The Daily Telegraph reports the Warriors contacted Williams manager on Tuesday to sound out a five-match contract worth $100,000 for the 34-year-old.
