WHO to decide fate of 3-billion-dose Chinese vaccines within days – Sydney Morning Herald
The decision to approve or reject the Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines falls at a critical time.

China has supplied 100 million doses of the Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines to 69 countries including Cambodia, Serbia and Indonesia. The supplies have been flown in prior to official approval by regulators in many of the countries but the WHO approval would clear the way for those vaccine stocks to begin immunising the population.
Both Sinopharm and Sinovac have faced months of scrutiny for not releasing detailed data on their efficacy, raising concerns that some countries would receive less effective…
