Fine time as police crack down on gatherings during virus crisis
WITH police cracking down on social gatherings as COVID-19 cases increase in NSW, new data reveals just how many people and businesses have been fined.
So far, 1264 penalty infringement notices (PIN) have been issued to individuals across the state since March 17, with a further 10 infringements issued to businesses.
There have been a further, 218 court attendance notices issued/charges laid for ‘fail to comply with Public Health Act’.
