A dying man has been granted his emotional final wish to soak up the racing trackside at Morphettville in Adelaide.
Nigel Latham was on his way home from hospital to enter palliative care at home when the paramedics had a simple question.

They asked me if Id like to stop off anywhere on the way, Nigel said.
I had been watching the racing in hospital, so wanted to go there.
