Deklan Labington-MacDonald, six-year-old boy injured in accident with SeaWorld toy, dies
A young boy who was critically injured in an accident involving a penguin toy purchased from SeaWorld has died.
Deklan Labington-MacDonald, 6, became “entangled” in the lead connected to the toy at his family’s Nerang home on Anzac Day.
He was subsequently admitted to the ICU at Queensland Children’s Hospital.
But his family was told he was “beyond recovery”.
On Friday, his life support was turned off.
