Three-time Repco Supercars Champion Scott McLaughlins impressive rookie campaign took a giant leap forward this morning AEST when the Kiwi claimed his his first ever podium result, behind countryman Scott Dixon in Texas.
Making McLaughlins drive even more impressive was the fact he started 15th and made his way through the field to claim second; on the first oval circuit he has ever raced.
