Ellie Goulding welcomes her first child with husband Caspar Jopling

Ellie Goulding is a new mother! The 34-year-old British singer-songwriter has given birth to her first child with her husband, 29-year-old art dealer Caspar Jopling. The father announced the exciting news on his Instagram story today. 
“Mum and baby both happy and healthy,”Jopling posted alongside an image of a bouquet. “Extremely grateful.” He then requested privacy on behalf of Goulding and himself for the immediate future, asking fans if they could allow space for the couple to breathe and enjoy their newfound parenthood. 
“I don’t ever get to address the attention that comes with Ellie’s job,” he wrote, “but during this magical and personal moment, we would really appreciate being able to enjoy our privacy. Thank you!”
