Nathan Brown’s injury baffled most onlookers as he limped from the field in pain and the Eels are hopeful he has avoided serious injury.
After putting in another five-star display against the struggling Bulldogs, his individual clash with Sam Walker is sure to be a feature of the build-up to the Roosters grudge game with Walker himself closing in on a long-term deal to stay at the Roosters.
Walker had an incredible five try assists in just his fifth NRL match as the Roosters, who finished the game with 11 men, ran riot against the Knights.
