Mask wearing has become so common during the pandemic that it will likely continue long after Covid-19 is considered a problem, a top doctor has said.
Speaking with the Irish Mirror, Dr Liz Kingston believes that the concept of wearing a mask will continue to be popular even when the population is fully vaccinated.
However, the senior lecturer at UL also believes that masks are likely to remain a legal requirement until the majority of the country is vaccinated.
