Five years ago Tereina, Debbie, Sharon, Kara and Alex joined the Nebo Local Ambulance Committee (LAC) and since then have been volunteering to help make their tight-knit community a safer place. The team were recognised recently for the impressive milestone, with Sharon (far right) also receiving her 20-year Long Service Medal as a volunteer emergency driver in the region.
