Man charged over car and bus crash that killed woman, 46, in Parramatta

A man has been charged after a fatal car and bus crash in Sydney’s west yesterday.
At about 8:00am on Saturday morning, emergency services were called to Argyle Street, near the intersection with O’Connell Street in Parramatta, where a grey BMW and a bus had collided.
The passenger in the car’s front seat, a 46-year-old woman, was unable to be freed from the wreckage and died at the scene.
There were no passengers on the bus.
The 54-year-old driver of the BMW and the 66-year-old bus driver were taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police arrested the man after his release from hospital and he was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death-drive manner dangerous, negligent driving (occasioning death) and proceed…
